  1. The empiric relations are fitted to the simulation results. We used the value D GFP = 8 2 ± 2 μ m 2 / s for GFP and its mutant protein in solution [38]. The last relation is then deduced from the first two for P f =1.0 and a NRO volume fraction of 37%.
